An Atheist finds God After Life Changing Request

Patrick Bet-David, came to America at the age of 12 after fleeing from his country to prevent being drafted into the military. At the young age of 12 years, he has already seen a lot of traumatizing things, which he feels contributed to his non-belief in the existence of God. He was an atheist.

One day at 2 AM, he was going through a bout of depression and was very lonely. At that moment in time, he had not spoken to his mom in five years, he had a new phone and she did not have his new number. At this time Patrick really needed her. He spoke to God while crying …“I was sitting there, and I said, ‘God, I don’t believe You exist. But if  You do, I wanna hear my mom’s voice right now.” (https://godtv.com/atheist-found-God-/)

3o seconds later, Patrick’s phone ranged from a blocked number. When he answered it, it was his mom on the phone crying. He asked her why was she crying? She said, “Because God told me you are in pain. I had to call you.” (https://godtv.com/atheist-found-God-/) His mom said she had his number the past few months but didn’t call because she was upset he joined the military. 

At that moment, Patrick new God did exist and that God does listen to him. 

Today, Patrick proclaims his faith in Jesus Christ and understands the power of calling on His name.
